Workstation for heavy compute

The Adamant Custom workstation pairs a 24-core AMD Threadripper PRO 9965WX processor with 256GB DDR5 ECC memory. A 360mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU stable at up to 5.3 GHz boost clocks. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on a GIGABYTE TRX50 AERO D motherboard inside a Corsair 5000D FRAME case.

Storage and graphics bundle

Three Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives provide 10TB total capacity with sequential reads up to 7450 MB/sec and writes up to 6900 MB/sec. A 10TB SATA III hard drive adds bulk storage. An Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 16GB card handles GPU-accelerated workloads and AI-ready tasks.

Suited for multi-threaded production

This configuration fits studios rendering complex scenes, engineers running large simulations, or developers compiling massive codebases. Buyers who need more than 256GB memory or additional GPU slots should look elsewhere. The dual LAN ports and extensive USB layout serve fixed workstation deployments rather than portable use.

Questions about this item

How long will the 360mm liquid cooler last before the pump or fluid needs replacement?

The 360mm quiet-edition AIO is a sealed unit with no user-serviceable parts; plan on replacing the entire cooler if pump noise or temperatures rise after several years of continuous operation.

Which component hits its limit first when all 24 cores and the RTX 5080 run at full load for hours?

The 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU sets the overall power ceiling; sustained combined CPU and GPU draw will approach its rated output before thermal throttling on the liquid-cooled Threadripper 9965WX or the graphics card occurs.

How loud is the 140mm PSU fan and the case airflow when the system runs all day?

The Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W uses an ultra-quiet 140mm fan, and the Corsair 5000D Frame includes front and rear 120mm fans, so acoustic output stays low even under prolonged heavy loads.
