Ultra-slim 2TB portable storage

The ADATA HV320 is a 2TB portable hard drive built around a USB 3.2 Gen1 interface. Its 10.7mm profile and 0.40 lb weight make it a compact choice for anyone who needs large capacity in a pocket-sized form factor. The glossy black finish adds a clean look for daily carry.

Suited for backups, not for bus-powered speed demons

This drive suits users who want straightforward file storage, offline backups or media libraries without installing software. The integrated shock sensor and 256-bit AES encryption protect data on the move. Buyers who need sustained high throughput for video editing or who require a second drive for RAID configurations should look at something else.

Deciding spec: USB 3.2 Gen1 interface

The single specification that decides fit is the USB 3.2 Gen1 connection. It determines the maximum transfer rate and the cable type required. If your workflow demands a faster interface or a different connector, this is not the right part.

Questions about this item

Does the ADATA HV320 2TB box include a USB 3.2 Gen1 cable or must I buy one separately?

The drive ships with a USB 3.2 Gen1 cable so you can connect it to a PC or laptop straight away. No extra cable purchase is required.

Should I choose the 2TB HV320 or a different capacity for daily backups and large media files?

The 2TB model gives roughly two terabytes of space, enough for thousands of photos, hours of video and regular system backups without needing a second drive.

What does the USB 3.2 Gen1 interface mean for real-world transfer speeds on this 2TB drive?

USB 3.2 Gen1 supports up to 5 Gbps bandwidth, so large files move at solid mechanical-drive speeds when the host port also runs at Gen1 or faster.
