Questions about this item

How far will the 40ft length reach in a typical office run?

The 40ft cable spans a single room or crosses a hallway without needing a coupler, keeping the signal within the Cat 6 distance limit.

What does the RJ-45 connector cap at for this shielded Cat 6 cable?

The RJ-45 plug terminates the four twisted pairs and maintains the shield path, so the link negotiates up to the Cat 6 bandwidth rating.
