Wireless trackball with nano receiver

The Adesso iMouseT40 is a wireless ergonomic trackball that connects through a nano USB receiver operating on 12 channels with 65536 IDs. It offers adjustable resolution up to 4800 dpi and functions at distances up to 30.0 feet. The ambidextrous contour suits left and right handed users equally.

Users wanting stationary cursor control

This trackball suits people who prefer moving a ball with fingers or thumb instead of sliding a whole mouse across a desk. The removable ball makes cleaning simple and the programmable driver lets you assign actions to seven buttons. Buyers who need a conventional mouse for gaming or wide sweeping motions should consider a different form factor.

Adjustable 4800 dpi optical sensor

The optical sensor provides five selectable DPI levels topped by 4800 dpi for precise tracking on most surfaces. A dedicated switch changes sensitivity instantly without software. This single specification determines whether the pointer speed range matches your workflow.

Questions about this item

How do I install the nano USB receiver and which step is often missed?

Plug the nano receiver into a USB port, install the programmable driver from Adesso, then pair the mouse; the step often missed is running the driver setup before first use.

What maintenance will the trackball need over time?

The large built-in trackball is removable; clean the ball and the sensor cavity periodically to keep optical tracking accurate.

What limit appears first during long sessions at the highest 4800 dpi setting?

The optical sensor’s 4800 dpi ceiling is reached before any wireless range limit, so sustained high-speed movement may hit the resolution cap first.
