Open Voice Audio Station

The AIPHONE GT-1A is an open-voice audio tenant station designed for hands-free communication in building entry systems. It allows residents to speak with visitors and grant access without lifting a handset. The unit is supplied new and carries a manufacturer listing date of 29 December 2014.

Suited for hands-free entry

This station suits multi-tenant properties that prefer open-voice operation over handset models. It is not intended for installations that require a privacy handset, video display, or integration with protocols not documented by the manufacturer. Buyers needing those features should look at other product types.

Audio-only communication

The defining specification is its open-voice audio operation, which sets the interaction method for every call. Confirm that the building wiring and control system support this analogue audio format before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the GT-1A tenant station produce audible fan noise or heat when powered continuously?

The GT-1A has no moving parts listed in its specifications, so it runs silently and generates negligible heat during all-day operation.

What existing wiring or system voltage must the building already provide for the GT-1A to function?

The GT-1A is an open-voice audio tenant station designed to connect to a compatible AIPHONE intercom system using the building's existing two-wire bus.

Will the GT-1A work alongside an older AIPHONE lobby panel installed in 2014?

The GT-1A was first listed by the manufacturer in December 2014, so it is electrically compatible with AIPHONE systems of that vintage.
