Flush-Mount Stainless Steel Video Station

The Aiphone IX-DVF is a single-channel video emergency station designed for flush mounting in commercial or institutional settings. Its IP65 weather-resistant stainless steel body suits outdoor or harsh indoor environments where a durable call point is required.

Build Quality and Connectivity

The unit uses a multi-wire digital connection method that integrates with compatible IP intercom infrastructure. IEEE 802.1X port security helps protect the network link, while the flush-mount design keeps the stainless steel faceplate level with the surrounding surface.

Practical Limits of the IP Video Standard

The 1.2 megapixel CMOS camera operates down to 5 lux minimum illumination, so low-light scenes may need supplementary lighting. Video streams use H.264/AVC or motion JPEG codecs over IPv4 and IPv6 with SIP signalling, limiting resolution and frame rate to the capabilities of those established standards.
