AKG Acoustics CK41 Cardioid Capsule with Windscreen

Versatile Cardioid Capsule

The AKG CK41 is a reference condenser capsule built for speech applications where a wide pickup angle is useful. Its 125-degree pattern accommodates inexperienced or very vivacious speakers and allows more than one person to use the microphone in turn. The cardioid polar pattern rejects noise from the rear, making it suitable for almost universal placement in streaming, podcasting or conferencing setups.

Slim Rugged Housing With Self-Cleaning Contacts

An extremely slim metal housing protects the capsule while fitting any mounting module of the modular series. Large-area, gold-plated contacts are self-cleaning and feature deep threads that prevent misalignment, eliminating contact problems and ensuring extra-long life. This mechanical reliability means the capsule stays secure and electrically sound through repeated module changes or transport.

Included Windscreen Improves Daily Usability

A highly efficient windscreen is supplied in the package, reducing plosives and wind noise without extra purchase. The speech-optimised frequency response works with the windscreen to deliver clear, studio-quality audio straight to the recording or streaming chain. No additional accessories or software are bundled, so the capsule is ready to mount and use immediately.
