Allentian PR-A18 Wireless Pen Mouse

The Allentian PR-A18 is a 2.4 GHz wireless pen mouse designed for PC, tablet, mobile phone and smart TV control. Its ergonomic ABS body weighs 30 grams and measures 14 x 2 x 1.5 cm for a comfortable hand grip. The device includes a USB receiver for plug-and-play setup, a charging cable, two adapters, a fabric bag and a base. It suits users who want a compact pointing tool with handwriting capability.

Upgrade From Basic Touch Or Trackpad Input

This pen mouse replaces finger touch or standard trackpad navigation with a 1600 dpi photoelectric sensor and adjustable resolution across three gears. The jump is worth it when you need precise positioning for annotation, drawing or presentation control on a smart TV or set-top box. Four keys and a touch wheel provide click, scroll and function access without a flat surface. Buyers who need more than 10 metres of operating range or a higher polling rate should look elsewhere.

Simple USB Receiver Setup

Installation requires plugging the supplied USB receiver into the host device; no driver installation is needed. The 500 mA battery delivers 48 hours of continuous use and five months of standby time. Common issues include losing the tiny receiver, forgetting to recharge before a long session, or finding the pen diameter too slim for extended grip comfort. The included base and fabric bag help keep the kit organised.

Questions about this item

What USB port does the 2.4 GHz receiver need?

The receiver plugs into any standard USB-A port on a PC, tablet, smart TV or set-top box and works immediately without drivers.

Which step do users often miss when setting up the pen mouse?

Insert the receiver, press the connect button on the pen, then wait for the LED to stop flashing — skipping the pairing press leaves the cursor unresponsive.

How long does the 500 mA battery last before it needs recharging?

About 48 hours of continuous use or up to 5 months on standby; recharge with the supplied cable and base when the indicator dims.
