allentian PR-A18 2.4G Wireless Mouse Pen Silver Gray

What the allentian PR-A18 mouse pen is

This wireless pen-shaped mouse connects through a 2.4 GHz USB receiver that works immediately without drivers. It weighs 30 grams and measures 14 x 2 x 1.5 cm, making it easy to carry between a PC, tablet, phone or smart TV. The 500 mAh battery provides 48 hours of continuous use or five months on standby. Adjustable resolution tops out at 1600 dpi across three sensitivity steps.

Check your setup before ordering

Verify that the host device has a free USB-A port for the included receiver. The mouse operates on a 2.4 GHz band between 2402 and 24080 MHz, so keep the receiver within 10 metres for reliable tracking. No Bluetooth pairing is offered, so devices that only support Bluetooth cannot use this pen. A USB charging cable and two adapters are supplied for recharging the internal battery.

What this replaces and when to upgrade

The pen form factor replaces a conventional mouse when you need handwriting input or a tighter grip for annotation on touch-capable screens. It upgrades from a basic optical mouse if you value the 1600 dpi precision and the touch-sensitive scroll wheel for fine navigation. Buyers who need programmable buttons, a higher dpi ceiling or an ergonomic shape designed for all-day palm support should look elsewhere.
