Pen-style wireless mouse with 1600 dpi

The allentian PR-A18 is a pen-shaped wireless mouse that connects through a 2.4 GHz USB receiver. It is designed for users who prefer a writing-grip form factor for navigation, handwriting input or annotation on PC, tablet, phone or smart TV. The compact body weighs 30 grams and includes a touch-sensitive scroll wheel.

Photoelectric sensor fixed at 1600 dpi

The sensor operates at a single 1600 dpi resolution with three selectable gears beneath that ceiling. Photoelectric tracking provides precise positioning on most desk surfaces without requiring a pad. The 2.4 GHz link delivers up to 10 metres of operating range for presentation or living-room use.

Suits annotators and presenters.

Buyers who want a lightweight pen grip for marking documents, teaching or sofa control will find the ergonomics and 48-hour continuous battery life fit the task. Users who need adjustable DPI above 1600, programmable buttons or a traditional palm shape should look at a different device.

Questions about this item

How does the 1600 dpi photoelectric resolution feel when I use the pen on a real desk?

The sensor delivers 1600 dpi tracking, giving precise cursor control for handwriting and pointing on most surfaces without needing a pad.

What does the 2.4 GHz wireless link with its USB receiver actually limit in everyday use?

The 2.4 GHz connection works up to 10 metres and plugs straight into a USB port with no drivers, so range and port availability are the practical limits.

What do I need on my device for the 14 x 2 x 1.5 cm pen to fit and charge?

A free USB port for the receiver and a USB power source for the charging cable; the pen itself is 14 x 2 x 1.5 cm and weighs 30 grams.
