A D5/VPP pump with ceramic axle, PWM speed control via 4-pin fan header and SATA power, supplied with a Plexi V.3 top
The Alphacool Apex VPP 755 is a high-performance pump designed for custom liquid-cooling loops. It targets enthusiasts building or upgrading a DIY cooling system who need reliable coolant circulation. The unit combines the pump motor with a Plexi V.3 top, delivering an integrated solution for reservoir mounting.
A 4-pin fan header provides PWM speed control and RPM monitoring through the motherboard or an external controller. This single interface lets users adjust flow rates dynamically and verify pump operation in real time. The connector is the primary method for integrating the pump into system fan curves.
The pump draws power from a standard SATA connector, removing the need for legacy Molex cables in modern builds. It is compatible with the most popular D5 and VPP pump tops and reservoirs, allowing flexible loop layouts. The ceramic axle design reduces vibration and lowers power draw compared to earlier spherical-bearing models.

The ceramic axle and external motor coils make it run smoother and more stable with significantly reduced vibration, while power draw is almost halved compared with earlier designs.
It carries a PWM signal so the motherboard or an external controller can adjust pump speed and read back the RPM value in real time.
It follows the standard D5/VPP footprint, so it fits the most popular D5 pump tops and reservoirs without adapters.
