Double-sided thermal adhesive pad measuring 30x30x.5mm with 1W/mK conductivity secures heatsinks without brackets and withstands 16N per 25mm
This double-sided thermal adhesive pad from Alphacool lets you attach a heatsink wherever needed without brackets or matching hole patterns. It suits builders who cannot use conventional mounting hardware on graphics cards, motherboards or similar components. The pad measures 30 by 30 by 0.5 millimetres and is supplied new with protective foil on both sides.
Thermal conductivity is rated at 1W/mK so the pad conducts heat rather than insulating the joint. Adhesive strength reaches at least 16 newtons per 25 millimetres, which the manufacturer says exceeds some duct tapes and can hold heavy coolers through transport shock or permanent pressure. The rubbery material remains compliant after the foil is removed.
The fixed 0.5 millimetre thickness sets the gap between component and heatsink and cannot be changed. Buyers who need a thinner or thicker interface layer, or who require higher thermal conductivity for high-power devices, should look for a different pad specification.

The pad measures 30 by 30 millimetres with a 0.5 millimetre thickness, so choose it when your mounting surface matches those dimensions and you need a thin thermal interface.
It transfers heat at up to one watt per metre-kelvin, providing a conductive path between the component and heatsink while the adhesive holds them together.
Testing shows a holding power of at least 16 newtons per 25 millimetres, giving an adhesive force greater than some duct tapes for securing heavy coolers.
