Alphacool G1/4 Double 45° Revolvable Angled Adaptor Black 64228

Double 45° Revolvable Adaptor

This Alphacool G1/4 adaptor connects a G1/4 outer thread to a G1/4 inner thread in a Deep Black finish. It suits custom liquid-cooling builders who need flexible routing between components. The revolvable design allows adjustment at two points to align tubing runs cleanly. It is not for builders who require a straight-through coupler or a fixed-angle elbow.

Practical limits of the G1/4 interface

The adaptor covers angles up to 90° by combining two 45° revolvable joints. Thread compatibility is limited to G1/4 fittings, so it cannot connect directly to metric or NPT threads without additional adapters. The high-flow inner diameter supports unrestricted coolant movement through the bends. It does not suit loops that demand a single rigid 90° fitting for space-constrained blocks.

Installation and common issues

Installation requires hand-tightening the outer thread into the component port, then rotating the joints to the desired angle before securing the inner fitting. Over-tightening can damage the chromatised finish or strip the brass threads. Misaligned rotations may introduce stress on connected tubing, so both joints should be set before final torque. The revolvable sections must be checked for leaks after the loop is filled.
