Letter-size filing set

This 25-pack of hanging folders fits 8.5 x 11-inch letter documents in standard metal cabinets, desk drawers and file boxes. Each folder is made from kraft paper containing 60% post-consumer recycled fiber and comes in a neutral gray finish. The adjustable 1/5-cut clear plastic tabs sit along the top edge and include replaceable white paper inserts for custom labels. Sturdy rod tips allow the folders to hang securely and slide smoothly on rails.

Lightweight paper construction

The folders weigh .11 pounds each and measure .1 inch thick, so a full drawer adds minimal load to cabinet rails. Paper stock produces no mechanical noise when folders are opened or closed. No power draw or thermal output is involved because the product is entirely passive. The thin profile keeps stored pages flat without bending under normal office use.

Adjustable tabs and rod tips

Clear plastic tabs can be repositioned along the top edge to suit different indexing systems, and the white inserts can be rewritten or replaced as projects change. Rod tips are shaped to glide on standard hanging rails without catching or scratching the finish. The 25-count pack supplies enough folders for a typical department or home office without requiring an immediate reorder. Buyers who need legal-size folders or heavier pressboard stock will need a different product.

Questions about this item

How do I install the adjustable tabs on the AMZ81604 folders and what step do people often miss?

Slide each clear plastic tab onto the top rail, then insert the white paper label; the step people miss is pressing the tab firmly until it clicks into the 1/5-cut slots so it will not slide off when the drawer is opened.

What part of the AMZ81604 will need replacement first with regular use?

The white paper inserts inside the clear tabs wear out first; they can be swapped for new labels while the gray kraft folders and rod tips keep working.

What limit appears first when the AMZ81604 folders stay fully loaded in a cabinet day after day?

The .1-inch-thick kraft paper sides are the first limit; they can bow if the drawer is packed beyond the 25-folder design capacity.
