Two-camera indoor kit

This Amcrest two-pack delivers 1080p pan/tilt cameras for whole-room coverage in a home or small office. Each unit streams 30fps video through a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi link and records to MicroSD, NVR, NAS, FTP or the Amcrest Cloud. Buyers needing outdoor-rated or 5 GHz hardware should look elsewhere.

360° pan and 90° tilt with IR night vision

The motorised head rotates 360° horizontally and tilts 90° vertically, controllable from the Amcrest View Pro app or a mainstream web browser. A 90° viewing angle and IR LEDs provide night vision to 32 feet, while two-way audio lets you listen and speak through the camera. Dual H.265 and H.264 compression keeps bandwidth and storage efficient.

Upgrade from fixed-position single cameras

Replacing a static wide-angle camera with this pair removes blind spots and adds auto-tracking of moving subjects. The jump is worthwhile when you need remote directional control, audio detection alerts and flexible recording destinations without running Ethernet cables. Shoppers who require PoE power or onboard AI person detection will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

What Wi-Fi standard does the camera use and what does that limit in practice?

The camera supports 2.4 GHz networks only, so it cannot connect to 5 GHz bands.

What physical mounting options does the pan/tilt camera need?

It requires a flat surface or wall bracket with access to a power outlet and a clear line of sight for the 360° pan and 90° tilt range.

How is the camera set up and what step do people often miss?

Connect the included power supply, add the camera in the Amcrest View Pro app on a 2.4 GHz network, then insert a Class 10 MicroSD card up to 256 GB if local recording is wanted.
