4K 8MP AI Turret Camera

This Amcrest IP camera captures 3840x2160 video at 15 frames per second through a 2.8mm lens that delivers a 129° field of view. It is built for outdoor monitoring with an IP67-rated metal housing and Power over Ethernet connectivity. The unit includes a built-in microphone for one-way audio and supports AI-driven human, vehicle and face detection plus perimeter tripwire and intrusion alerts.

PoE power and storage requirements

The camera requires a PoE injector or PoE switch, which is not included, to supply both data and power over a single Ethernet cable. Local recording can be saved to a microSD card up to 256GB, to a PC running the supplied Amcrest Surveillance Pro software, or to Amcrest Cloud. Verify that your network infrastructure can provide PoE and that you have a compatible NVR, computer or cloud plan before ordering.

Weatherproof operation and night performance

The IP67 enclosure protects the electronics from dust and water during continuous outdoor exposure. Dual illumination switches between IR and warm light automatically, providing colour night vision up to 49ft. Wide dynamic range reaches 120dB to balance high-contrast scenes, and H.265 or H.264 compression reduces bandwidth and storage demand during normal use.
