What this camera is and who it serves

The Amcrest AL-L411W is a 4MP light-bulb style WiFi network camera that fits a standard E27 socket and runs on 110-240VAC power. It streams 4MP video at 15fps with two-way audio through the Amcrest LINK mobile app. The 90.5° field of view and motorised pan/tilt let one unit cover a wide indoor or outdoor area without extra wiring.

Sustained operation and on-device AI

Human detection and auto-tracking run on a built-in hardware ASIC, so the camera records and follows a person continuously without needing a cloud subscription. Video is compressed with H.264 and can be stored locally on a microSD card up to 128GB, in the app, or on the optional Amcrest LINK Cloud. Colour night vision stays active in low light thanks to the F1.6 aperture and IR LEDs.

Practical limits of the WiFi and power interface

The camera connects on 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual-band WiFi, so range and throughput depend on the router and building materials rather than the camera itself. An E27 lamp holder supplying 110-240VAC is mandatory; there is no battery or PoE alternative. The IP45 rating protects against dust and water jets, but the unit is not submersible. The Amcrest View Pro app is not supported.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 4MP light-bulb camera generate when it runs continuously?

The unit draws power from a standard E27 socket (110-240 VAC) and uses passive cooling; it has no fan, so it runs silently and produces only modest warmth.

What must I already have at the install site for this camera to work?

You need an E27 lamp holder supplying 110-240 VAC and a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi network for the camera to connect.

Will the AL-L411W record to my existing Amcrest NVR or the Amcrest View Pro app?

No — it records to a microSD card (up to 128 GB), the Amcrest LINK mobile app, or optional Amcrest LINK Cloud storage, and it does not work with Amcrest View Pro or traditional NVRs.
