Compact 128 GB voice recorder

The AMOI B800Li provides 128 GB of internal storage for extended voice capture in a 65 × 32 × 17 mm clip-on body. It records in WAV format at rates from 32 to 384 Kbps and supports micro USB 2.0 for file transfer and charging. The built-in lithium-polymer battery is rated for up to 300 hours of recording time.

Passive operation and battery life

With no speaker or active cooling, the recorder runs silently during use. The 1500 mAh cell delivers up to 20 days of continuous recording on a full charge, and a voice-activated mode pauses recording when no sound is detected to conserve power. Low-power auto-save protects files before the unit shuts down.

Clip mounting and daily handling

A rear clip secures the 60 g device to a pocket or bag for hands-free capture up to 60 metres away. One-click start and automatic time-stamped filenames simplify session management. The micro USB port doubles as a connection for MP3, WMA or WAV playback and for use as a USB mass-storage drive.

Questions about this item

How do I start a recording and what step do people miss?

Slide the one-click switch to begin; the unit will not record until the micro USB 2.0 cable is unplugged, so disconnect it first.

What will need replacement after extended use?

The built-in lithium-polymer battery is not user-replaceable; once it no longer holds a charge the whole recorder must be replaced.

Which limit appears first during continuous recording?

The 1500 mAh battery is rated for 300 hours of recording, which is reached well before the 128 GB card capacity.
