8-Channel 3K Lite DVR Kit

The Annke 8-channel 3K Lite DVR recorder ships with eight wired 1080P cameras and no hard drive installed. It records 2MP video using H.264+ or H.265+ compression and supports AI Motion Detection 2.0 for human and vehicle alerts. The hybrid recorder accepts analog HD, CVBS and IP cameras up to 12 channels when IP enhanced mode is enabled.

Homeowners wanting wired 1080P coverage

This system suits buyers who need eight fixed 3.6mm cameras with 65ft infrared night vision and IP67 weather resistance for outdoor mounting. It is not for users who want a pre-installed hard drive, wireless cameras, or audio recording on every channel since only one RCA audio input is provided on the recorder.

Check power, cabling and storage before ordering

The DVR runs on a DC12V supply and connects to a router through a 10/100M RJ45 port. Each camera requires a wired run back to the recorder and the single SATA bay accepts one drive up to 10TB for 24/7, scheduled, motion or loop recording. Verify you have a monitor with HDMI or VGA input for local playback at up to 1080P output.

Questions about this item

What hard drive do I need to add to the 1 SATA interface DVR before it can record?

Install a 3.5-inch SATA hard drive up to 10 TB capacity; the recorder ships with 0 TB so recording will not start until a drive is fitted and formatted in the DVR menu.

Will the 8 included 1080p cameras work with the DVR's 3K Lite analog channels?

Yes, the DVR supports 1080p analog input on all eight channels, so the supplied cameras connect directly via coaxial cable and record at their native 1920 x 1080 resolution.

How can I confirm the AI Motion Detection 2.0 is actually filtering people and vehicles?

Open the playback timeline — clips tagged with human or vehicle icons indicate the filter triggered; adjust sensitivity in the motion menu if icons are missing on known events.
