8-Channel 4K DVR System

This Annke surveillance kit pairs an 8-channel 4K digital video recorder with eight wired 1080p cameras. The recorder accepts analog HD, AHD, CVI, CVBS and IP inputs for up to twelve channels in enhanced mode. It ships without a hard drive and supports up to 10 TB of storage for continuous recording.

Check Cabling and Monitor Inputs

Each camera connects via coaxial cable that also carries audio, so verify you can route eight cables from camera positions to the recorder. The DVR outputs video through HDMI at up to 4K resolution and VGA at 1080p; confirm your monitor or TV has a matching port. Remote viewing requires a network connection to the recorder and the Annke app on a smartphone or tablet.

Weather-Resistant Cameras With Dual Illumination

The white bullet cameras carry an IP67 rating for outdoor mounting and include both infrared and white-light LEDs. Infrared provides black-and-white night vision to 100 ft while full-colour night vision reaches 66 ft. H.265+ compression reduces bandwidth and storage needs, and the recorder can trigger instant push alerts when human or vehicle detection is activated.

Questions about this item

Does the 8-channel DVR kit ship with a hard drive, or must I buy one separately?

The system is supplied with 0 TB installed; a surveillance-grade drive up to 10 TB must be purchased separately.

Which recording resolution should I select — 1080p at 30 fps or 4 MP at 25 fps — for the included 2 MP cameras?

The cameras output 1920×1080, so choose 1080p at 25 or 30 fps; higher DVR modes such as 4 MP are for other camera types.

What does the 4K HDMI output actually deliver when the cameras are only 2 MP?

The HDMI port scales the 1080p camera feeds to 3840×2160 for display; recorded detail remains at 1920×1080.
