8-Channel 4K DVR with Four 2MP Cameras

This wired surveillance system includes a 4K-capable DVR and four 2MP cameras. The recorder supports 4K live viewing and recording while the cameras deliver 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second. A pre-installed 4TB hard drive provides local storage for continuous recording.

Suits homes needing AI-filtered alerts

Deep learning motion detection distinguishes people and vehicles to reduce false alarms from animals or foliage. The 5-in-1 DVR accepts TVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS and IP cameras for flexible expansion. Buyers who require wireless cameras or built-in Wi-Fi connectivity should consider other solutions.

4TB drive stores weeks of 1080p footage.

H.265+ compression extends retention time for the four included cameras at 1080p 30 fps. Night vision reaches 66 feet in infrared mode and 100 feet with dual-light assistance. Adding more than eight analog channels or recording all streams at 4K 15 fps will exhaust capacity sooner.

Questions about this item

What type of monitor connection do I need for 4K live viewing from the DVR?

The DVR provides an HDMI output up to 4K (3840 × 2160) at 30 Hz and a VGA output up to 1080p at 60 Hz, so a monitor with an HDMI port is required for 4K resolution.

Can I keep my existing analog cameras and add them to this 8-channel DVR?

Yes, the 5-in-1 DVR supports TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS analog inputs alongside IP cameras, allowing you to connect compatible older cameras to the available analog channels.

How can I verify that the AI human and vehicle detection is working after installation?

Trigger a test by walking or driving a vehicle in front of a camera; the system should send an email alert with a snapshot only when a person or vehicle is detected, ignoring animals or foliage.
