8-Channel 6MP PoE NVR

The Annke recorder manages up to eight Power-over-Ethernet IP cameras at resolutions up to 6 megapixels. A 1 TB hard drive is pre-installed for immediate 24/7 recording. The unit suits homes or small businesses that want a single box for power, networking and storage.

H.265+ compression and 60 Mbit bandwidth

H.265+ encoding reduces storage needs by up to 75 percent compared with older codecs, extending the 1 TB drive’s recording window. Incoming bandwidth caps at 60 Mbit, so eight 6 MP streams must share that pipe; simultaneous high-bitrate feeds can saturate the link. Playback tops out at one 6 MP channel at 25 fps or four 1080p channels.

Upgrade from non-PoE or lower-resolution recorders

Replaces standalone NVRs that lack PoE ports, removing separate injectors and power supplies. The jump is worthwhile when adding cameras beyond a four-channel limit or when 6 MP detail is needed for identification. Not for buyers who need more than eight cameras, internal storage beyond 6 TB, or 4K recording capability.

Questions about this item

Should I keep the 1TB drive or upgrade to a larger SATA drive for longer recording?

The NVR has one SATA interface supporting up to 6TB; the pre‑installed 1TB drive works for 24/7 recording, but a larger drive extends retention before overwrite.

What does the 6MP max recording resolution mean when I view footage on a monitor?

The NVR records up to 6MP per camera, but HDMI and VGA outputs are limited to 1080P, so local live view and playback will display at 1080P maximum.

How many cameras can the built‑in PoE ports power and what is the per‑port limit?

Eight PoE ports are built in; each port delivers up to 25.5W, enough for standard IP cameras, and total PoE power stays within the unit's 60M incoming bandwidth.
