8-Channel Wired Surveillance Kit

This Annke system bundles a 4K-capable 5-in-1 DVR with four 2MP outdoor cameras and a pre-installed 1TB hard drive. It is designed for homeowners or small businesses that need continuous local recording with AI-driven human and vehicle detection to reduce false alerts. The package delivers a complete wired installation without requiring separate storage purchases.

Upgrade From Basic Analog Or Single-Camera Sets

The jump is worth it when you need multi-channel coverage with unified 4K live viewing and H.265+ compression that extends recording time on the 1TB drive. It replaces standalone cameras or older DVRs that lack deep-learning perimeter protection and coaxial audio support. Buyers who only need one or two cameras without advanced analytics will find this kit excessive.

1TB Storage And 8-Channel Capacity

The included 1TB HDD comfortably handles several weeks of 1080p30 footage from four cameras using H.265+ encoding, with headroom for adding up to four more analog or twelve IP channels. Recording at 4K resolution or higher frame rates such as 60fps at 720p will fill the drive faster, requiring either scheduled overwrites or an additional drive bay not included in this package.

Questions about this item

What cables and connectors does the 1 TB DVR need for the four included cameras?

Each camera connects with a coaxial cable carrying both 1080p video and audio to the DVR's BNC inputs, and the DVR supplies power to the cameras over the same cable run.

Which step do installers most often miss when setting up the 8-channel DVR and its four cameras?

They forget to enable the enhanced IP mode if they later add more than eight IP channels, which limits the recorder to 12 total channels instead of the full 16.

When will the pre-installed 1 TB drive need to be replaced or expanded?

The drive holds roughly two to four weeks of continuous 1080p30 recording from four cameras; when it fills, the DVR overwrites the oldest footage unless a second drive is added.
