8-Channel 8MP AI DVR Kit

This system combines an 8-channel DVR with four 8MP bullet cameras and a pre-installed 2TB hard drive. It is designed for homeowners or small businesses that need continuous 4K recording across multiple outdoor zones. The cameras carry an IP67 rating and operate from -40 °C to 60 °C.

Upgrade from 1080p analog or basic IP kits

The 8MP resolution delivers 3840 × 2160 pixels, nearly four times the detail of 1080p for identifying faces or licence plates. AI human and vehicle detection cuts false alerts by up to 99%, and H.265+ compression reduces bandwidth and storage needs compared with older H.264 recorders. The jump is worth it when clearer evidence and fewer nuisance notifications matter.

Wired 5-in-1 DVR with IP expansion

The recorder accepts TVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS and IP signals on its eight BNC ports, letting you reuse existing analog cabling. An extra four IP channels can be added, or the unit can switch to a 16-channel IP-only mode. Cameras use a 2.8 mm fixed lens with up to 25 m IR or 20 m white-light range, and the DVR fits in a 315 × 242 × 45 mm chassis.

Questions about this item

What rack or shelf space does the 315 × 242 × 45 mm DVR require?

The DVR measures 315 mm wide, 242 mm deep and 45 mm high, so allow at least that footprint plus cable clearance on a shelf or in a cabinet.

Which cables carry both video and audio to the DVR without extra wiring?

The coaxial connection transports video and audio together, so each camera needs only one coax run to the recorder.

How long is the 2 TB drive likely to last before replacement?

The DVR accepts up to 10 TB total capacity, letting you swap to a larger drive when the 2 TB fills or ages.
