5MP PoE Dome Camera for Home and Business

This Annke C500 dome camera delivers 5MP Super HD video at 2560 x 1920 resolution using a 1/3" OmniVision sensor. It supports H.265+ compression for efficient bandwidth and storage use. The camera operates via PoE or 12V DC power and includes a built-in microphone for audio recording.

Simple PoE Installation with Local Storage Option

A single Ethernet cable provides both power and data when connected to a compatible PoE NVR or injector. The camera accepts microSD cards up to 256 GB for local recording without monthly fees. ONVIF and RTSP compliance allows integration with third-party NVRs. Improper network configuration or insufficient PoE power budget are common setup issues.

Suited for Outdoor Sites Needing Vandal Resistance

The IP67 weatherproof and IK10 vandal-proof housing suits exposed locations such as yards, garages and warehouses. EXIR 2.0 provides up to 100 ft night vision with 120 dB WDR and 3D DNR for high-contrast scenes. Buyers requiring pan-tilt-zoom movement, wireless connectivity or cloud-only storage should consider other form factors.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the C500 dome is recording true 5MP 2560 x 1920 footage after I mount it?

Log into the camera or NVR and confirm the live stream shows 2560 x 1920 at 15 fps; the OmniVision sensor and EXIR 2.0 night vision should deliver clear colour images up to 100 ft in darkness and the 120 dB WDR with 3D DNR handles high-contrast scenes.

What comes in the box and what must I supply for the C500 dome?

The package includes one PoE IP dome camera with a 2.8 mm lens, built-in microphone and microSD slot; you must provide a PoE switch or injector, an NVR or ONVIF-compatible recorder, and a microSD/SDHC/SDXC card up to 256 GB for local storage.

Which storage capacity should I choose for the C500 dome’s microSD slot?

The camera accepts cards up to 256 GB; pick a capacity that matches how many days of H.265+ 5MP footage you want on-site — larger cards simply extend the loop recording time before overwriting.
