Four-Channel RCA Fiber Extender

This device converts four line-level unbalanced RCA audio signals into optical fibre for transmission over long distances. It supports both single-mode fibre up to 20 kilometres and multi-mode fibre up to 2 kilometres. The unit handles 16-bit and 24-bit digitally encoded analog audio without software drivers.

Hot-Pluggable SFP Modules Included

Supplied SFP transceivers enable immediate deployment and allow the link type to be changed by swapping modules. The extender operates in point-to-point or daisy-chain topologies and can be used standalone or mounted in an FVC14 chassis. Front-panel LEDs provide instant visual confirmation of signal presence and link status.

20 Kilometre Single-Mode Reach

The maximum transmission distance over single-mode fibre is 20 kilometres, while multi-mode fibre is limited to 2 kilometres. Installations requiring longer single-mode runs or different connector types will need alternative equipment. Buyers needing more than four audio channels or balanced XLR connectivity cannot use this unit.
