HDMI Extender Splitter 1x2 4K@60Hz

This HDMI extender splitter duplicates one source to two displays over CAT5, CAT6 or CAT7 cable. It supports 4K resolution at 60 Hz and transmits signals up to 60 metres (196 ft). A local loop-out port mirrors the signal near the transmitter. Infrared pass-back at 20–60 kHz allows remote control of the source from the receiver location. A power switch and Power over Cable technology simplify installation by reducing the number of power adapters required.

Ideal for dual-display signage

The unit suits installations that need two synchronised 4K screens fed from a single player up to 60 metres away, especially when the source must be controlled from the display end. It is not suited for applications requiring more than two outputs, longer cable runs, or distribution over fibre or IP networks. Buyers needing HDMI 2.1 features such as 8K timing or variable refresh rate should look elsewhere, as the adapter is limited to the stated 4K@60Hz specification.

4K@60Hz over CAT5/6/7 up to 60 m

The decisive specification is the maximum transmission distance of 60 metres (196 ft) at 4K@60Hz over standard twisted-pair cable. If the installation exceeds this range, the signal will not arrive intact regardless of cable grade. Conversely, shorter runs within the limit will carry full 4K resolution with IR control and loop-out convenience. Verify the exact cable length before purchase.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the CAT5, CAT6 or CAT7 version for my run?

The unit works with CAT5, CAT6 or CAT7 cable; choose the category that matches the cable you already have or plan to install.

What does 4K@60Hz mean when the signal travels 60 metres over CAT cable?

The extender delivers a 4K 60 Hz picture up to 60 metres (196 ft) over a single CAT5/6/7 link without compression.

How does the HDMI loop-out and IR pass-back work together on this splitter?

The transmitter provides a local HDMI loop-out for a nearby display, while the 20–60 kHz IR return path lets you control the source from the remote receiver.
