Compact recorder for lectures and meetings

The AOTAOREC 64G stores up to 64 GB of audio and runs for 72 hours on a single 600 mAh polymer charge. It captures WAV or MP3 files and is aimed at students, professionals and anyone who needs a lightweight device for interviews or daily memos.

Magnetic mount and USB-C transfer

An N45 magnet lets the unit attach to metal surfaces such as car panels or desks for hands-free recording. Files move to a phone or PC over the USB-C connector without extra software, and voice-activated or scheduled modes start recording only when sound is detected.

Limits of the built-in interface

The recorder relies on its internal microphone and DSP processing; it does not accept external microphones or wireless links. Playback requires a Type-C headphone connection or file transfer to another device. Storage is fixed at 64 GB, so very long sessions must be offloaded before the 1 280-hour capacity is reached.

Questions about this item

Does the 600 mAh polymer battery need to be replaced after a certain number of charges?

The built-in 600 mAh polymer cell is not user-replaceable; it recharges via USB-C and is rated for 72 hours of continuous recording per charge.

Will the 64 GB storage fill up before the 72-hour battery runs out?

At the default WAV quality the 64 GB holds about 1,280 hours of audio, so the 72-hour battery limit is reached first.

Does the recorder get warm or make noise during a full 72-hour session?

The unit is described as silent and lightless with no moving parts, so it produces no audible noise and stays cool during extended use.
