Airflow Management Kit

The APC AR8101BLK kit provides blanking panels in 1U, 2U, 4U and 8U heights to fill unused rack slots. It is designed for server-room operators who need to control airflow inside standard enclosures.

Rack Integration

Panels mount directly into empty rack-unit openings without extra hardware, closing gaps that let hot exhaust recirculate. The assortment of heights lets installers match any combination of vacant spaces in a single pass.

Thermal Behaviour

By enforcing a front-to-rear air path the kit helps keep internal temperatures stable during continuous operation. The solid black panels prevent bypass airflow that would otherwise degrade cooling efficiency over long periods.
