3000 VA 208V On-Line UPS

The APC Smart-UPS SRT3000XLT delivers 3000 VA and 2700 watts of true double-conversion on-line power protection at 208 volts. It accepts a NEMA L6-20P input and provides three outlets: one NEMA L6-30R and two NEMA L6-20R. The unit includes RJ-45 serial, SmartSlot, and USB interface ports for management integration.

Replaces Standby or Line-Interactive Units

Moving from a standby or line-interactive UPS to this double-conversion topology is worth it when connected equipment requires continuous power conditioning with zero transfer time. The on-line architecture isolates loads from input anomalies including wide voltage swings and frequency variation. Extended-runtime capability allows adding matching battery packs when runtime must be measured in hours rather than minutes.

2700-Watt Load Capacity and Scalable Runtime

The 2700-watt rating comfortably handles dense server, networking, medical, or light-industrial loads within a rack/tower convertible chassis. Runtime scales by attaching external battery packs to meet aggressive backup requirements. The 340-joule surge energy rating and auto-sensing 40–70 Hz input frequency support operation in demanding power environments. Recharge time is three hours.

Questions about this item

What rack space does the 17.00" x 3.35" x 25.00" chassis need?

The unit is 3.35 inches high, which equals 2U of rack space, and 17.00 inches wide by 25.00 inches deep for tower or rack mounting.

Which cable goes into the NEMA L6-20P inlet during setup?

Connect a 208 V supply cord with a matching NEMA L6-20P plug to the single input receptacle; the step often missed is verifying the branch circuit is rated for 20 A before powering on.

When should the internal battery be replaced?

Plan replacement after roughly 3 to 5 years of service; the UPS will sound audible and visible alarms when the battery reaches end of life, and recharge takes 3 hours after a full discharge.
