Compact tablet for basic tasks

The iPad Mini 2 A1489 is a 7.9-inch tablet with 64GB storage and 1GB memory. It runs iOS 12.5.5 on a 1.3 GHz Apple A7 processor. The IPS Retina display shows 2048×1536 resolution at 326 pixels per inch. It suits users who need a light device for web browsing, email and video playback in the browser.

Simple setup with software limits

The tablet arrives fully functional after a 30-point inspection and includes a UL approved power adapter and cable. No headphones, SIM card or manual are supplied. Installation requires only charging and signing in with an Apple ID. The fixed maximum of iOS 12.5.5 means many current apps will not install, so buyers must verify app compatibility before purchase.

64GB handles media, not modern apps

The 64GB built-in storage holds offline videos, photos and documents comfortably. The 1GB memory and A7 chip run the supported iOS version and browser-based video smoothly. Performance runs out when apps demand newer iOS frameworks or heavier multitasking, making the device unsuitable for current productivity suites or recent games.
