iPad 10.2 and 10.5 Cover

The Apple Smart Cover in Pink Sand fits iPad 10.2" (7th, 8th and 9th generation), iPad Air (3rd generation) and iPad Pro 10.5" (1st generation). A polyurethane exterior and microfiber lining protect the screen from scratches and minor bumps. The cover attaches magnetically and adds minimal bulk to the tablet.

Daily Protection and Stand

Opening the cover wakes the iPad automatically and closing it puts the device to sleep, preserving battery between sessions. The foldable design creates stable viewing angles for typing, reading or watching video without a separate stand. The hinge holds its position during regular handling and transport.

Check Your Model First

Verify that your iPad matches one of the listed generations before ordering, as the magnetic alignment and sleep sensor differ on other models. The cover only protects the screen side; buyers who want a back shell or full enclosure will need a different accessory. No keyboard or stylus holder is included.

Questions about this item

Does the Smart Cover add noticeable heat or drain battery when left on the iPad all day?

The cover has no electronics and adds no heat; its wake/sleep function actually conserves battery by putting the iPad to sleep when closed.

What must I already own for this Pink Sand cover to work?

You need a compatible iPad — 10.2-inch 7th, 8th or 9th generation, iPad Air 3rd generation, or iPad Pro 10.5-inch 1st generation — because the cover attaches magnetically to those models.

Will the cover fit and protect my older 10.5-inch iPad Pro without blocking ports or cameras?

Yes, it is made for the 10.5-inch iPad Pro 1st generation, aligning with its ports, cameras and magnetic edge for a secure fit and full screen protection.
