Two iPads with similar screens can have different bodies, cameras and button positions, so check the generation or the model number printed on the back. Listings name the fit, for example iPad 10th generation, iPad mini or iPad Pro 13-inch with an M4 chip, and universal tablet cases often fit loosely. A cover protects the screen only, a folio covers front and back and doubles as a stand, and a rugged case adds corner and edge protection.
A keyboard case works only with the iPad sizes and generations it names, and connects through Bluetooth or the iPad's connector contacts. Screen protectors come in tempered glass, with a hardness rating such as 9H, or film, and in clear or anti-glare finishes; matte reduces reflections but softens sharpness a little. If you use an Apple Pencil, check which generation your iPad supports and whether the case leaves its attaching edge free.
