Micro-ATX server board for AMD Ryzen CPUs with dual 10-gigabit Ethernet, IPMI, and four DDR4 slots supporting 128 GB ECC memory
The ASRock Rack X470D4U2-2T is a micro-ATX server motherboard built around the AMD X470 chipset and Socket AM4. It accepts Ryzen 5000, 4000, 3000 and 2000 series desktop processors, including G-Series models with Radeon graphics and PRO variants. Four DDR4 slots support up to 128 GB of ECC or non-ECC UDIMM in dual-channel mode. The board provides dual 10 GbE ports via an Intel X550-AT2 controller plus a dedicated IPMI LAN port for remote management.
This board fits administrators deploying web hosting or cloud nodes that require two 10 GbE links and out-of-band KVM over a dedicated management port. The splittable PCIe 3.0 x16 slot and a second x8 slot allow GPU, storage or networking add-in cards. Builders who need more than six SATA ports, integrated Wi-Fi, or a larger ATX form factor should look elsewhere.
The pair of RJ45 10G base-T ports driven by the Intel X550-AT2 is the defining connectivity feature. If the deployment can use dual 10 GbE copper uplinks, this board matches the requirement; if only 1 GbE or fibre uplinks are available, a different platform is appropriate.
