Micro-ATX server board with LGA 1851 socket, four DDR5 slots, one PCIe 5.0 x16, two M.2 and eight SATA ports
The ASRock Rack Z890D4U is a Micro-ATX server motherboard built for the LGA 1851 socket. It supports Intel Core Ultra Desktop Processors Series 2 in a single-socket layout. The board measures 9.6 by 9.6 inches and fits standard Micro-ATX chassis. It targets builders deploying compact workstations or edge servers that need desktop-class processors.
This board replaces systems using previous-generation LGA sockets when moving to the Intel Core Ultra Series 2 architecture. The jump is worth it for workloads that benefit from the new processor line and the board’s PCIe 5.0 lanes. It provides 4 DIMM slots for DDR5 non-ECC UDIMM and CUDIMM memory. Expansion includes one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, one PCIe 5.0 x4 slot, and MCIO connectors for PCIe 5.0 x8 or dual x4 plus PCIe 4.0 x4 lanes.
Confirm your power supply delivers ATX or 12V DC-in as required by the board. Ensure the CPU cooler fits the LGA 1851 socket and the Micro-ATX form factor within your case. Check that M.2 devices operate on PCIe 4.0 x4 and that SATA drives use the 6Gb/s interface. The board offers 8 SATA ports and 2 M.2 slots.

The board uses the standard Micro-ATX form factor measuring 9.6 inches by 9.6 inches, fitting any chassis with Micro-ATX mounting holes.
Connect either a standard ATX power supply using the 24-pin and CPU power headers, or feed 12 V DC power through the dedicated DC-in connector on the board.
The four DIMM slots accept DDR5 non-ECC UDIMM or CUDIMM modules in a two-DIMM-per-channel topology for future capacity upgrades.
