System overview

The ASUS Prime AP202 is a liquid cooled gaming desktop built around a 12 core Ryzen 9 9900X running at 4.4GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 with 16GB GDDR7. It ships with 128GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB NVMe SSD, targeting enthusiasts who want a high end Windows 11 machine ready for 4K play and heavy multitasking without assembly.

Thermals and power

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the CPU while the 1000W power supply feeds both the processor and the RTX 5080 under sustained load. The closed loop keeps temperatures stable during long sessions, and the single 1000W unit simplifies cable routing inside the case for consistent airflow.

Build and connectivity

Four DDR5 slots are fully populated so memory expansion requires module replacement rather than adding sticks. The NVMe drive occupies the primary high speed slot, while SATA III ports remain available for additional storage drives. WiFi and RGB lighting are integrated, and component brands may vary across production batches.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360mm liquid cooler in the AP202 case, and what step do people often miss?

The 360mm liquid cooler comes pre-installed and tested; the step users miss is removing the shipping brackets that secure the radiator and pump before first power-on.

What maintenance or replacement will the 360mm liquid cooler need later?

The sealed 360mm liquid cooler is maintenance-free for its service life; if pump noise or CPU temperatures rise years later, the whole AIO unit would be replaced.

What limit appears first under sustained load with the 1000W power supply and 360mm cooler?

The 1000W power supply sets the sustained power ceiling for the 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X and RTX 5080, while the 360mm liquid cooler manages the resulting CPU heat.
