System overview

The ASUS Prime AP202 is a pre-built gaming desktop that pairs an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X 16-core processor running at 4.3GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card carrying 16GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with 128GB DDR5 RAM across four slots and a 2TB NVMe SSD, cooled by a 360mm liquid cooler and powered by a 1000W supply under Windows 11 Home.

Who it suits

This configuration targets players and creators who want a high-core-count CPU and a flagship GPU in a single chassis ready for 4K gaming and heavy multitasking. Buyers who need more than 2TB of fast storage or who prefer air cooling over a liquid loop should look at other systems.

Deciding specification

The installed RTX 5080 with 16GB GDDR7 determines whether this machine fits a workflow that relies on current-generation NVIDIA graphics features and that amount of video memory.

Questions about this item

What case clearance is needed for the 360 mm liquid cooler radiator?

The system uses a 360 mm liquid cooler; ensure the chassis has a 360 mm mounting location with enough depth for the radiator and fans.

How is the 128 GB DDR5 memory configured across the four slots?

All four DDR5 slots are populated to reach 128 GB; any future upgrade means removing existing modules before installing higher-capacity sticks.

What maintenance does the 360 mm liquid cooler need over time?

Check coolant levels and radiator dust annually; if pump noise appears or temperatures rise, plan a full cooler replacement as the loop is not user-serviceable.
