ROG Strix G16 with i9-14900HX and RTX 5060

The ASUS ROG Strix G16 G615JMR is a 16-inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i9-14900HX processor with 24 cores and 32 threads. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card carrying 8 GB of GDDR7 memory. The system ships with Windows 11 Home and targets users who need high core counts and modern GPU features in a portable chassis.

Sustained load with upgraded thermal compounds

HIDevolution applies Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut on the CPU and Gelid GC Extreme on the GPU during assembly. These high-conductivity thermal interface materials are intended to lower peak temperatures during extended gaming or rendering sessions. The goal is to keep clock speeds stable for longer periods without the throttling that can occur with stock paste under continuous heavy load.

128 GB DDR5 and 2 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe upgrade

The base configuration is upgraded to 128 GB of DDR5 5600 MHz memory in a dual-channel layout and a 2 TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD. This replaces the standard lower-capacity RAM and storage, removing bottlenecks for memory-heavy workloads and large game libraries. The jump is worth it when you regularly run virtual machines, compile large codebases, or keep dozens of modern titles installed simultaneously.
