Ready-to-play gaming desktop

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White arrives fully assembled with Windows 11 Home installed. It combines an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF 20-core processor at 5.4GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. The system targets enthusiasts who want high-frame-rate 4K gaming and content creation without building a PC themselves. Buyers who need a compact form factor or a lower power draw should look elsewhere.

Installation and common issues

The desktop ships tested and ready to use, so no internal assembly is required. A 360mm liquid cooler is pre-installed on the CPU to manage thermals under load. The 1000W power supply is already connected to all components including the RTX 5080. The most frequent setup step is attaching the included Wi-Fi antennas and checking for Windows updates before the first gaming session.

Deciding specification

The graphics card is a GeForce RTX 5080 with 16GB of GDDR7 memory on a PCI Express x16 interface. This GPU tier determines whether the system can sustain high refresh rates at 4K resolution in modern titles. If the target workload needs more video memory or a different GPU architecture, this configuration will not match the requirement.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 360mm liquid cooler is keeping the Core Ultra 7 265KF at safe temperatures after setup?

Enter the BIOS or use ASUS monitoring software to confirm the CPU runs near its 5.4GHz boost under load while coolant temperature stays within normal range.

What components are included in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The system ships complete with the ROG Strix Helios GX601 White chassis, Core Ultra 7 265KF, RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7, 64GB DDR5, 4TB NVMe SSD, 2TB SATA III HDD, 1000W power supply, Windows 11 Home, WiFi, and RGB lighting; only a monitor, keyboard, and mouse are needed separately.

Which storage configuration suits me best — the 4TB NVMe SSD or the 2TB HDD?

Use the 4TB NVMe drive for the operating system and active games to benefit from its speed, and keep the 2TB HDD for bulk media, backups, and less-frequently accessed files.
