ROG Strix Helios GX601 White gaming desktop

This ASUS system pairs an Intel Core i7-14700KF 20-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. It ships with 32GB DDR5 memory, a 4TB NVMe SSD and a 2TB SATA III hard drive. A 1000W power supply and Windows 11 Home are included.

Sustained load with 360mm liquid cooling

The 360mm liquid cooler keeps the 3.4GHz CPU stable during extended sessions. The 16GB GDDR7 GPU memory handles high-resolution textures without throttling. Fast NVMe storage reduces load times across long play periods. Builders needing more internal drive bays or a smaller chassis should look elsewhere.

16GB GDDR7 on the RTX 5080 decides fit

That VRAM capacity sets the ceiling for 4K and ultra-quality assets. The 20-core CPU and 32GB DDR5 support the GPU but cannot compensate if the frame buffer fills. Choose this configuration when 16GB GDDR7 matches the target workload.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 360mm liquid cooler keep the i7-14700KF and RTX 5080 during all-day gaming?

The 360mm liquid cooler is designed to handle the 20-core i7-14700KF and RTX 5080 under sustained load, maintaining lower temperatures than air cooling while running quietly.

Which peripherals and display cables do I need to start using this PC immediately?

You only need a monitor with HDMI or DisplayPort input, plus a keyboard and mouse; Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and Wi-Fi is built in.

Can I keep my existing SATA SSDs or 3.5-inch hard drives and add them to the Helios GX601?

Yes, the 2TB HDD uses a SATA III connection, so additional SATA drives can be installed in the available drive bays alongside the 4TB NVMe boot drive.
