Core Ultra 9 285K desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White system ships new with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K 24-core processor reaching 5.7 GHz on an LGA 1851 platform. It targets enthusiasts who want a liquid-cooled, Windows 11 gaming desktop ready for 4K play and heavy multitasking without building from parts.

32 GB DDR5 with 2 TB NVMe plus 2 TB HDD

The 32 GB DDR5 kit fills all four slots, giving ample headroom for modern titles and content creation while leaving no free DIMMs for future expansion. A 2 TB NVMe drive handles OS and active projects at PCIe speeds, while a 2 TB SATA HDD provides bulk storage for media libraries and backups.

Radeon RX 9070 XT on PCI Express x16

The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT with 16 GB GDDR6 connects through a single PCI Express x16 slot, delivering VR-ready 4K raster performance within the 850 W power budget. Builders who need multi-GPU scaling or larger VRAM buffers for AI workloads will find the platform does not support those configurations.

Questions about this item

Will my existing SATA III hard drive work with the 2TB HDD already installed in this desktop?

Yes, the system includes a 2TB HDD connected via SATA III, so any additional SATA III drive you keep will be compatible with the same interface.

How can I verify the 360mm liquid cooler is keeping the Core Ultra 9 285K at its 5.7GHz base frequency under load?

Monitor CPU clock speeds and temperatures in a hardware utility while gaming; the 24-core processor should sustain 5.7GHz if the cooler is functioning correctly.

Does the box contain the 850W power supply and Windows 11 Home licence, or must I buy them separately?

Both the 850W power supply and Windows 11 Home are pre-installed in the chassis; nothing extra is required to start using the PC.
