System identity

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K 24-core processor running at 5.7GHz. It pairs a GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card with 8GB GDDR7 memory, 32GB DDR5 system memory and a dual-drive layout of 2TB NVMe SSD plus 2TB SATA HDD. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed on a 750W power supply.

Compatibility checks

Verify that your display cable matches the graphics card outputs and that your desk can accommodate a mid-tower chassis with a 360mm radiator. Ensure the mains socket can deliver sufficient current for a 750W unit. The motherboard uses an LGA 1851 socket with four DDR5 slots, all currently populated, so future memory upgrades require module replacement.

Sustained-load behaviour

The 360mm liquid cooler is designed to manage heat from the 24-core CPU during extended sessions. The 750W power supply provides headroom for the RTX 5060 Ti and all storage devices under continuous demand. Dual-drive storage separates operating system speed on the NVMe SSD from bulk capacity on the mechanical HDD, maintaining consistent throughput when both drives are active.

Questions about this item

Does the ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 come with a keyboard, mouse and monitor or must they be purchased separately?

The desktop ships as a tower only; Windows 11 Home is pre-installed, but a keyboard, mouse and display are not included and must be bought separately.

Should I choose the 8 GB GDDR7 RTX 5060 Ti or a larger GPU for 1440p gaming?

The system includes the 8 GB GDDR7 RTX 5060 Ti; it handles 1440p well in most titles, but heavier ray-tracing workloads may benefit from a card with more memory.

What does the 5.7 GHz boost on the Core Ultra 9 285K mean once the PC is built?

The 24-core processor can reach 5.7 GHz on active cores under load, while the 360 mm liquid cooler keeps temperatures in check during sustained gaming sessions.
