ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White gaming desktop is built for enthusiasts who want a high-performance system ready to use immediately. It combines an Intel Core i7-14700KF 20-core processor at 3.4GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card and 64GB DDR5 memory. A 360mm liquid cooler manages thermals for the CPU.

Buyers needing maximum core counts

This system suits gamers and creators who prioritise strong single-thread and multi-thread performance in a pre-built chassis. Buyers who need more than 64GB memory capacity or multiple graphics cards should look at a different platform. The motherboard provides four DDR5 slots, all populated, and a single PCI Express x16 interface.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 graphics

The installed GeForce RTX 5080 carries 16GB GDDR7 video memory and connects via PCI Express x16. This GPU defines the gaming and rendering ceiling for the build. Storage pairs a 2TB NVMe SSD with a 2TB SATA III HDD, while a 1000W supply powers the components. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Questions about this item

Will my existing SATA III 2 TB hard drive work as a secondary drive alongside the 2 TB NVMe SSD and 2 TB HDD already installed?

Yes — the motherboard provides SATA III ports so your current 2 TB SATA drive can be added as a third storage device without conflicting with the NVMe or the pre-installed HDD.

How can I verify the 360 mm liquid cooler is keeping the i7-14700KF at safe temperatures under load?

Run a CPU stress test while monitoring core temperatures in the BIOS or a hardware-monitor utility; the 360 mm liquid cooler should keep the 20-core processor well within its thermal limits during sustained workloads.

Which components are included in the box and what must I purchase separately to start using the system?

The box contains the complete desktop with i7-14700KF, RTX 5080 16 GB GDDR7, 64 GB DDR5, 2 TB NVMe SSD, 2 TB HDD, 1000 W PSU, 360 mm liquid cooler, Windows 11 Home, Wi-Fi and RGB lighting — only a monitor, keyboard and mouse are needed separately.
