System identity

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 9 9900X 12-core processor running at 4.4GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 with 32GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with 64GB DDR5 RAM, a 2TB NVMe SSD plus a 2TB SATA III HDD, and a 1200W power supply running Windows 11 Home. This configuration targets enthusiasts who want a ready-to-play 4K gaming rig without assembling parts.

Pre-install checks

Verify that your display supports the output options of the RTX 5090 and that your desk or floor space accommodates a full-tower chassis with a 360mm liquid-cooling radiator. Confirm your mains circuit can handle the 1200W power supply under load and that you have a grounded outlet. The system arrives with Windows 11 Home pre-installed, so no licence key is required. Ensure your network environment works with the onboard Wi-Fi for initial updates.

Thermals noise power

A 360mm liquid cooler manages heat from the 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X and the RTX 5090 during extended sessions. Fan curves are tuned for quiet operation at idle and moderate loads, ramping up only under sustained 4K gaming or rendering workloads. The 1200W unit delivers stable power to both high-draw components while maintaining efficiency across typical usage patterns.
