Ready-to-play gaming desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White system ships fully assembled with Windows 11 Home installed. A 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X processor and GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card drive 4K gameplay and content creation workloads. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a dual-drive layout give immediate capacity for large libraries. The build targets enthusiasts who want flagship performance without component selection or assembly.

360 mm liquid cooler manages thermals

A 360 mm all-in-one liquid cooler handles the Ryzen 9 9900X heat output under sustained load. The 1000 W power supply delivers headroom for the RTX 5080 and full system draw while maintaining stable voltages. Liquid cooling reduces acoustic profile compared with air towers at equivalent thermal capacity. Components are validated for continuous operation at stock frequencies.

Standard ATX layout simplifies upgrades

The chassis follows ATX motherboard and power-supply form factors for straightforward parts compatibility. Four DDR5 slots are populated, so memory expansion requires module replacement rather than addition. One NVMe SSD and one 2 TB SATA III hard drive occupy the primary storage bays; additional drives need free motherboard headers and physical bays. Front-panel I/O and Wi-Fi antennae are pre-routed for clean cable management.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360mm liquid cooler and what step is often missed?

The 360mm liquid cooler ships pre-installed on the Ryzen 9 9900X. The step people miss is removing the shipping brackets that protect the radiator and pump during transit before first boot.

What maintenance will the 360mm liquid cooler and 1000W power supply need later?

The 360mm liquid cooler is a sealed unit and requires no refilling. Dust the radiator fins every 6 to 12 months. The 1000W power supply has no user-serviceable parts; keep its intake filter clean.

What limit appears first during sustained load on the RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7?

The GPU temperature limit is reached first. The 360mm liquid cooler handles the CPU, while the RTX 5080 relies on its own air cooler inside the GX601 chassis, so GPU thermals throttle before the 1000W power supply or DDR5 memory.
