System configuration

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White desktop pairs a 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X processor with an AMD Radeon RX 9070 graphics card. The system ships with 128GB of DDR5 memory and a dual-drive layout of 1TB NVMe SSD plus 2TB HDD. It targets enthusiasts who want a pre-built platform ready for high-resolution gaming and multi-threaded workloads without assembly.

Thermals and power

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the CPU thermal load while the 750W power supply feeds the complete build. The all-in-one cooler keeps the 12-core chip at stable temperatures during extended sessions. Acoustic output stays contained inside the Helios chassis, so fan noise remains low during typical gaming or productivity use.

Deciding specification

The installed Radeon RX 9070 carries 16GB of GDDR6 video memory and connects via PCI Express x16. That VRAM capacity and GPU tier define whether the system meets your target resolution and texture-quality requirements. Buyers who need more graphics memory or a higher GPU tier for 4K ultra settings should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How is the 360mm liquid cooler installed on the Ryzen 9 9900X, and what step is often missed?

The cooler mounts on the AM5 socket using the supplied bracket; the step often missed is removing the plastic cover from the cold-plate before securing the four thumbscrews in a cross pattern.

What maintenance will the 360mm liquid cooler and 750W power supply need later?

Clean the radiator fins and fans every six to twelve months; check the pump for noise after two to three years and replace the unit if flow drops, while the PSU only needs occasional dust removal from its intake.

Which limit appears first during sustained loads on the Radeon RX 9070 with 16GB GDDR6?

The GPU core temperature hits its throttle point before the 16GB VRAM fills, so the 360mm liquid cooler’s ability to move heat from the CPU becomes the practical ceiling for long sessions.
