ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Gaming Desktop

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 9900X processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card with 16GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with 64GB DDR5 RAM, a 2TB NVMe SSD plus a 2TB SATA III HDD, a 1000W power supply and Windows 11 Home pre-installed.

Ideal for high-refresh 4K gaming

This system suits players who want flagship GPU performance and creators who need 12 cores with 64GB DDR5 for rendering or multitasking. Buyers who need ECC memory support or a workstation-grade GPU driver stack should look elsewhere, as the platform targets consumer workloads.

RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 graphics card

The installed GeForce RTX 5080 provides 16GB of GDDR7 video memory on a PCI Express x16 interface and is virtual reality ready. This single specification determines whether the desktop meets the graphical throughput required for 4K ultra settings or professional GPU-accelerated applications.

Questions about this item

How should I choose between the 2TB NVMe SSD and the 2TB HDD for my games and apps?

Install the OS and active titles on the 2TB NVMe SSD for fast load times; use the 2TB SATA III HDD for media archives and less-played games.

What does the Ryzen 9 9900X 4.4GHz base clock deliver in actual gameplay?

The 12-core processor at 4.4GHz base frequency feeds the RTX 5080 without bottlenecking modern titles at high refresh rates.

How does the PCI Express x16 graphics interface affect the RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 performance?

The x16 link provides full bandwidth for the RTX 5080, so the 16GB GDDR7 memory can transfer textures and frames without interface throttling.
