ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a new gaming desktop PC built for enthusiasts who want a complete high-performance system. It pairs an AMD Ryzen 9 9900X 12-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. The 64GB DDR5 memory and 4TB NVMe SSD plus 2TB HDD provide ample capacity for modern games and heavy multitasking. It ships with Windows 11 Home installed and ready to use.

360mm liquid cooler and 1000W power supply

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the thermal output of the Ryzen 9 9900X and RTX 5080 within the Helios chassis. The integrated 1000W power supply delivers the necessary power for both components without requiring a separate unit selection. Four DDR5 slots are populated, leaving no free memory slots for future expansion. Builders who need additional drive bays beyond the provided NVMe and SATA storage should verify chassis capacity before purchase.

Sustained load with liquid cooling

The 360mm liquid cooler is designed to maintain lower temperatures during extended gaming or rendering sessions compared to air cooling. The RTX 5080 with 16GB GDDR7 and the 12-core CPU at 4.4GHz base frequency can sustain high clock speeds when the cooling loop has adequate airflow. Systems relying on smaller radiators or limited case ventilation may see reduced boost duration under continuous heavy workloads.

Questions about this item

How does the 360 mm liquid cooler handle the Ryzen 9 9900X under sustained full-core load?

The 360 mm liquid cooler is sized to dissipate the heat from the 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X during extended gaming or rendering sessions, keeping temperatures in check without throttling.

What power draw and noise level should I expect from the 1000 W supply and RTX 5080 when the system runs all day?

The 1000 W unit provides headroom for the RTX 5080 and overclocked CPU, while the liquid cooler allows fans to spin slower, reducing audible noise during long workloads.

Does the motherboard include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth so I do not need a separate adapter?

The supplier description lists WiFi and RGB, confirming on-board wireless connectivity; no extra network card is required for typical home use.
