ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Gaming Desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White system is a pre-built gaming desktop PC powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 8-core processor and a Radeon RX 9070 graphics card. It arrives with Windows 11 Home installed, liquid cooling and RGB lighting. The configuration targets enthusiasts who want a complete, ready-to-play rig without selecting individual components. Builders who prefer to choose their own parts or need a barebones chassis are not the intended audience.

Radeon RX 9070 16GB GDDR6 Graphics Performance

The single specification that defines this system's gaming capability is the Radeon RX 9070 GPU equipped with 16GB of GDDR6 memory connected via a PCI Express x16 interface. The card supports virtual reality applications and drives high-refresh-rate gameplay at common resolutions. Buyers who require more video memory for heavy 4K texture packs or professional compute workloads should verify the 16GB limit matches their workload before purchasing.

Liquid-Cooled AM5 Platform Installation Notes

The CPU is cooled by a 360mm liquid cooler mounted inside the GX601 chassis, so the processor is ready to run without additional thermal paste or bracket work. Memory slots are fully populated with 128GB of DDR5 across four slots, leaving no room for further RAM upgrades without removing modules. Storage combines a 4TB NVMe SSD and a 2TB SATA III HDD; the SATA drive requires a standard data and power cable connection if it is ever reseated. The 750W power supply is pre-installed and cabled for the included components.

Questions about this item

How does the Ryzen 7 9700X 3.8GHz base clock behave under sustained gaming loads with the 360mm liquid cooler?

The 360mm liquid cooler keeps the 8-core Ryzen 7 9700X at stable temperatures during extended sessions, allowing the processor to maintain high boost frequencies across all cores without thermal throttling.

What does the PCI Express x16 graphics interface mean for the Radeon RX 9070 16GB GDDR6 in this system?

The Radeon RX 9070 connects through a full PCI Express x16 link, providing maximum bandwidth for the 16GB GDDR6 memory and ensuring the GPU is not limited by the motherboard interface.

Will the 4TB NVMe SSD and 2TB SATA III HDD both fit inside the GX601 chassis alongside the 360mm liquid cooler?

The GX601 case is designed to accommodate the 360mm liquid cooler while still providing mounting points for both the 4TB NVMe drive and the 2TB SATA III hard drive.
