ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Gaming Desktop

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card with 12GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with 128GB DDR5 RAM, a 2TB NVMe SSD and a 2TB SATA III HDD, powered by an 850W supply running Windows 11 Home.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This system suits gamers and creators who need 16 cores at 4.3GHz base frequency, 128GB DDR5 capacity and a 360mm liquid cooler for sustained workloads. Buyers who want more storage than the combined 4TB provided, or who require a different GPU memory configuration than 12GB GDDR7, should look at other configurations.

Deciding specification: 128GB DDR5 RAM

The 128GB DDR5 memory installed across four slots is the specification that decides whether this desktop matches the workload. It supports memory-intensive content creation, heavy multitasking and high-frame-rate gaming without requiring an immediate upgrade. If the target application needs less capacity, a system with a smaller memory kit may be more cost-effective.
